CENTRE FOR
MANAGEMENT STUDIES
The
Centre for Management Studies, was established to
conduct non-grantable self financing Management
courses of Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur
in May 1994 by the Shiksha Mandal. The Centre has
been conducting two employment oriented post
graduate Diploma Courses from the academic session
of 1994-95, namely-
1. P.G. Diploma
in Personnel Management.
2. P.G. Diploma
in Entrepreneurship & Small Unit Management.
3. P.G. Diploma
in Marketing Management was introduced from 1996-97.
The Centre
launched a fulltime P.G. Degree course namely Master
of Human Resource Administration from 1998-99
session and Master of Marketing Administration from
2000-01 session. |

THE COURSES WE
OFFER :
The Managing
Committee of CMS has decided to conduct the
following Masters
Degree Courses of
two-year (4 semester) duration from the session of
2000-2001.

MA (H.R.A.)
(ii) Masters'
Degree in Marketing Administration -
MA (MKtg Admn.)

year P.G. Diploma Course in Service Management in
the Faculty of Commerce. We have obtained this
course is dully approved by the Govt. & affiliated
to Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur |

THE VENUE :
The Centre is
housed in the new management block in the premises
of the G.S. College of Commerce & Economics, Civil
Lines, Jabalpur.

The P.G. Diploma
Course is of One Year duration while the P.G. Degree
Courses are of Two-Years (4 Semesters) duration. |

EXAMINATION :
All semester and
Final Examinations of the P.G, Degree as well as
diploma Courses are conducted by Rani Durgawati
Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur.
Degree certificates
will be awarded by Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya,
Jabalpur to the successful candidates in the final
examination held by the University.

AWARD OF GOLD
MEDALS :
Gold Medals will be awarded by the Centre to the
topper in each P.G. Degree Course. The Gold Medal to
be awarded each year to the topper in Master of
Human Resource Administration has been instituted by
Dr. S.P. Gupta, Professor, G.S. College of Comm. &
Econ. Jabalpur in the memory of his father (late)
Shri Radheshyam Gupta, Principal, Mahakoshal Higher
Secondary School, Jabalpur. Similarly, the gold
medal to be awarded each year to the topper in
Master of Marketing Administration has been
instituted by Dr. R.S. Sohane, Principal, G.S.
College of Comm. & Econ., Jabalpur in the memory of
his father (late) Shri Ratanchand Sohane.(Late) Shri Suresh
Chand Awasthi has instituted another Gold Medal in
the memory of his father, (Late) Shri Banshidhar
Awasthi, to be awarded each year to the topper of
all the P.G. degree courses,conducted by the Centre.
